Glass Introduction to High Borosilicate Heat Resistant Glass
Heat-resistant glass refers to glass that contains highly heat-resistant components such as boric acid and silicic acid, and can withstand rapid temperature changes. It is an excellent anti-corrosion material.
1.Will heat-resistant glass products explode when filled with boiling water?
High borosilicate heat-resistant glass, with an instantaneous temperature difference of -20-150 and boiling water of 100 due to the special material of heat-resistant glass
It is no problem to put the glassware directly into boiling water after freezing it in the refrigerator for 12 hours
2.Can heat-resistant glass products be heated?
The bottom with an electromagnetic plate can be directly used for heating electromagnetic furnaces or other electromagnetic heating equipment. Heating type insulation heating pads (such as USB insulation pads) are also acceptable. Heat-resistant glass products can be used for microwave and oven heating (excluding double-layer products). Double layer glass products cannot be directly heated with an open flame, as there is air in the middle compartment, which can pose a risk of explosion when placed in a microwave or oven.
3. Is the double-layer glass product vacuum? Why is there a blowhole at the bottom?
Double layer glass products are not vacuum, and there is an air outlet at the bottom of the outer layer to discharge gas, deform, and explode during the blowing process. After production is completed, the hole is sealed. There is gas in the middle, and if it is a vacuum, it will make a noise after breaking and explode glass fragments, which can easily harm people.
4. Does the double-layer glass product have insulation performance?
Double layer glass products have a certain degree of insulation performance, and the middle partition layer can alleviate heat loss to achieve a certain degree of insulation performance
5. Are heat-resistant glass products fragile and afraid of falling?
Like other glass products, they are fragile and afraid of falling, which is determined by the physical properties of the glass. However, heat-resistant borosilicate glass products have a more compact molecular structure compared to traditional sodium calcium glass products, requiring only a smaller thickness to achieve better strength. Generally, the thickness is around 1.1mm, making them lightweight and still sturdy and durable. So ordinary collisions do not cause damage.
6. How to distinguish whether glass products are heat-resistant glass?
Heat-resistant glass products have high transparency, good refractive effect, delicate and smooth feel, and light and thin texture
