How to remove odors from glass jars

1. Using lemon peel to remove odors

Lemon has a special taste that can eliminate odors. Therefore, when the glass jar at home has an unpleasant odor, we first clean it with detergent, then put the fresh lemon peel into the glass jar, cover it, and after about four or five hours, rinse the jar again. You will find that the taste has disappeared and there is still a fresh taste. If there is no lemon at home, fresh orange peel can also be used as a substitute to achieve the same effect.

2. Use baking soda to remove odors

Baking soda has a strong cleaning effect, so the glass jars at home have a foul odor, which can also be used for cleaning. Fill a glass jar with hot water, pour in an appropriate amount of baking soda, cover it, shake vigorously, and finally let stand for a few minutes. Pour out the water and clean it thoroughly.

3. Toothpaste

Don't underestimate the stain removal ability of toothpaste. The bottles and cans at home are dirty. Use a toothbrush to brush all the toothpaste inside and out, especially the jars with odors. Brush them one more time and rinse them clean. The jars will leave a fresh taste of toothpaste.

4. Boiling water

If the odor is not very strong, you can blanch it with boiling water, fill a glass jar with boiling water, cover it, and wait for it to cool before pouring it out and rinsing it clean. So using boiling water to remove odors is also the simplest way.
